Air fryer: pork fillet

Pork fillet is a delicacy, no matter how you do it. When properly marinated and fried in an airfryer it turns out to be especially good. One big plus of using a fryer is its speed: a filet weighing about 800 grams, like the one in the photo, is fully cooked in as little time as 20-25 minutes.

Another plus comes from the awesomely crispy crust which I don’t think you can get in a regular oven.

The third plus in saving electricity. No preheating time and fast cooking.

My fryer isn’t very big, you can fit in only about 800 grams of meat. And it does not fit in as a whole, so I halved it already before marinating.

This has been done for a large number of diners as well and it succeeded very well. The second portion cooked and got ready while eating the first fried portion.

Let the filet season in marinade for at least 12 hours before frying.

PORTION: 4 servings
TIME TO MAKE: seasoning 12 hours, frying about 20-25 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

  • 800 gr pork fillet
  • marinade

Marinade:

  • ½ dl olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of finely chopped parsley
  • 2-4 crushed garlic cloves
  • ¼ dl lemon juice
  • 1-2 teaspoons of salt
  • black pepper

Mix the marinade ingredients together and pour the marinade over the meat. Roll the filet to evenly spread the marinade around the entire meat. It is worth turning the meat a couple of times drying the marinating process

Air fryer adjustments: meat > 180°C > 25 minutes

And that’s it. Simple, huh?
