
Mascarpone cream is just the most delightful and delicious dessert, and works really well on its own when served with coffee instead of cookies or ice cream. Cream can be used for filling cakes or swiss rolls as well. And to top it all, it’s also really easy to make!
In these pictures I have used fairly large cups to serve the mascarpone, so the portions in the recipes are for 2 persons. I have to admit that the portion was a bit too much for me to eat in one go, so splitting the cream to 4 portions works just fine as well.
PORTION: 2 big or 4 small servings
TIME TO MAKE: about 15 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
- 2dl cream
- 150-200g mascarpone cheese
- 4 teaspoons of sugar
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla sugar
- For chocolate foam 1-2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
And this is how you do it: (quite simple, I know!)
Whip the cream after adding sugar and vanilla sugar. Add mascarpone cheese, mix well. If you are making the chocolate cream version, add cocoa powder and mix well. Decorate with fruits or berries.
